Intention Good Thoughts Space
Don't panic if you are in a state of intention, your mind is at peace and you have "no thoughts" in your head. This still happens to me. I "get in the present moment" and I get happy and content and...then there are no thoughts! Literally, nothing comes to mind. I just feel happiness and peace, but the driven part of me says, "What good will that do? I can't just feel happiness forever...I am to be thinking and doing something in order to ensure that I can keep feeling happy!" This is very flawed reasoning, but the driven American in me says that these are the Rules.
I occasionally panic because just being happy, without actually doing anything, must mean I am "getting off course" and "not being productive" and "not getting anywhere". I lose sight of the fact that my main intention is to be happy and peaceful and spread goodness and coolness around the world. What I sometimes forget is that being in the moment is the "doing" action and is "productive"; it is the most effective way of fulfilling my intention. It is a relatively new lesson for me that being in the present moment, which feels really good, is actually extremely productive.
When you allow yourself to be in the moment and be happy and peaceful, then you are also now allowing space for the thoughts that are good, the thoughts that will guide you and speak the truth of your path in life; your life's intention. These thoughts have always been there, but they couldn't get through all the clutter and noise and chatter of the driven, fearful, anxiety filled thoughts. You simply couldn't hear them.
So, allow Good Thought Space. Just be patient and see what comes to mind. An experiment that I do is take 15 minutes and just be in the moment. I can always go back to being anxious when the 15 minutes is up. 15 minutes is short enough that it wont derail me from getting on with all of my axious thoughts and fears, if that is what I choose to do when the time is up. 15 minutes is long enough for me to clear my head, be in the moment, and to recognize how fantastic I feel living in the moment. Most importantly, inevitably, 15 minutes is long enough for the Good Thought Space to open up and expand inside of me. I can hear my true self in this space as the loving, high energy, true-to-self thoughts have a chance to be heard.
