What it Feels Like When You Start Your Very Small Business

What if what you really, really, really want to create for your own very small business is actually one of your life's purposes? It wouldn't get any better than that. So, let yourself want what you want to do for a business with no apologies. Don't feel a need to explain what you want and why you want it to others.

Quite simply, if you just accept that you were put here to create this really great very small business, then, once you accept it, you will notice that it is OK for you to want it. You don't have to justify it. No energy is expended or wasted by a lot of explaining. You are divinely right for wanting what you want. Not what you think you can do for work, not what your family or friends or society says you should do as a job, but, quite simply, what you want to do.

If you truly believed it, then you would just calmly and without much fanfare, go about the business of starting your very small business. And, that, my friends, is love and acceptance, not only of yourself, but also of others and of the idea that we are all here for a purpose.

The fact that we exist here on Earth means that we are purposeful. We are here for a reason. How big or small the reason may be, that is a judgement and a perception; not reality.

My motivation and attitude towards starting home business shifted because of the belief that my business was one of the things I am supposed to do with my life. My attitude got different real fast. I developed a belief in what I am capable of, that I can do a good job, and that I can bring value to others with my own very small business.

This belief has its own energy, its own intention. I am just the conductor of its energy as it flows through me and onto this computer and then onto pages and into you as you read these words. I am just a means to the Thoughts end. Amazing how the Thought can grow.

Money is a great thing. Accept that you want to make money doing what you really, really, really want to be doing for a living. Making money is a worthwhile goal of your business. Don't feel bad or apologize or feel guilty about wanting to make money. Money takes care of a lot of things and can be used for a lot of good purposes and there is no reason to feel guilty about having the earning of it be one of your goals. Accept that it is a worth-while goal. Most of us go to jobs from 8-5 for money and yet we don't feel guilty about that. Deciding to earn money is nothing to be ashamed of. Money can make life more fun, it can help to protect you and your loved ones, it can be given to charities, it can be used for an education, and on and on.

In fact, if your very small business was a public one, your stakeholders would expect you to be focused on making money. Money is a tool to get to the end result, but it is not the end result in itself.

I am forever changed because I now know how great it is to do something meaningful and significant with my life. I am changed because I have experienced it. The power and impact of this is unreal. I may slip back into my old ways, I may feel lost again and unsure of what to do with my life but, because I have experienced these feelings, I won't be lost and unsure for very long; the will only be temporary.
