Positive Energy Thoughts

Positive Energy Thoughts

When it comes to personal development plans, it can be easy to get stuck in the planning stage. You can waste too much time thinking and rethinking or writing and rewriting your goals. Planning your plan can be a trap. Before you know it, a week has passed and you haven’t taken action.

How can you quickly and easily switch gears from planning mode to action mode and have fun doing so?

Turn it into a game

Have you ever noticed that what you think about is what shows up in your life? Imagine that your thoughts are like magnets that attract their own likeness in the physical world. The more time you spend thinking a certain thing, the stronger its magnetic pull becomes.

So, to transition from thinking to acting , erase all the thoughts cluttering your head. As you begin to steer your thoughts where you want them to go, your body will naturally follow. Focused thoughts have a tremendous amount of energy and this energy will coarse through your body, propelling you forward. When your body and your mind are in sync, taking action feels effortless. Instead of forcing yourself to work on your goals, your energy and momentum will lead you forward.

We all have the ability to focus our thoughts and create tremendous energy in our bodies to move us forward. For instance, when I get upset, it is easier to go with the surge of negative energy that coarses through my body than to stop that wave of emotion. Regaining composure can be more difficult than going with the flow.

Likewise, when I accomplish a major goal, I can't help but feel good. My smile widens, I laugh more often and I have more energy.

You have the ability to purposefully create positive energy thoughts every single day by clearing your mind and focusing on one goal at a time. Get clear and specific on your goal. Imagine it really happening in your life and envision what a typical day would look like. Allow plenty of time to get as clear and detailed as possible. A 10 year old should be able to draw a picture of the desired outcome.

If your dream goal is to move to a new city, then imagine yourself actually moving right now. Picture yourself packing up the UHaul, saying goodbye to your neighbors, and setting out on your new life. See the front door of your new home and imagine walking into the new house for the first time.

At this point, the positive energy thoughts are strong and your desire to take real action will be quite strong.

This is where most people get stuck! Their desire to act is strong, but often no action is taken. People get stuck and overwhelmed because they don't know how to go about achieving their goals.

At this critical moment, ask yourself: What is the smallest step forward that I can take right now to make this dream a reality? Think small. Try to choose an action that takes no more than 10 minutes. If your mind is blank, and you are still stuck, then think even smaller . Ask yourself: What can I do right this second to move forward? Whatever pops into your head, just go with it.

For me, things that are seemingly unrelated tend to propel me forward. That is because it isn't the act itself that matters - it is the feelings that the act evokes that matters. . For example, I had a strong desire to move, but I was stuck in thinking that it would be difficult to sell my home for a reasonable price. Weeks went by and I was no closer to moving. One day, after going through this exercise, I had the strong desire to thoroughly clean my house. I decided to go with the impulse. I bought professional-grade cleaners at Home Depot and scrubbed, waxed and dusted everything. Admiring my work, I had a new feeling of hope that my home could sell for a reasonable price. Those positive energy thoughts prompted me to get an appraisal on my home and get closer to making the dream of moving into reality.

After Years of Misery from Anxiety and Depression, I Gained My Life Back

Exhausted? Stressed-out? Overwhelmed?

Hi,

Courtney here, author of this site. When I developed anxiety and depression, I went to a psychologist, a psychiatrist and a physician, and to be truthful, in my experience, these people couldn't really help.Therapy sessions, yoga and getting more exercise lessened my anxiety symptoms, but did not stop them for good.

In fact, I later learned that because I was living in a constant state of low-level stress and anxiety, the chemicals in my brain had changed, making me more anxious and depressed. Clearly, merely managing my symptoms was not enough - in fact, following "the doctor's orders" made things worse....
