Motivational Thought For The Day

Having a motivational thought for the day is a golden key to success. When you are motivated and positive, you have the energy to accomplish your dreams.

The first critical component of achieving anything is to think positive. You need a motivational thought for the day.

As Henry Ford said, "If you think you can or you think you can't, you are right." The second critical component to success is to stop procrastinating and to actually get out there and go for your dreams. When positive thinking and motivational thoughts are combined, the duo are astonishingly powerful.

Motivation can be either positive or negative. Some people use negative thinking as a way to motivate themselves to take action. Anxiety, fear, or anger are very strong emotions that can drive people to make changes in their lives. However, you don't feel powerful or optimistic when acting out of anxiety or fear. In fact, even though negative emotions can motivate change, people who use them as motivators don't feel a sense of accomplishment. Instead of feeling proud and optimistic, they feel beaten down, lost, and sad.

Negative motivation can also prevent change. People can feel caged in by negativity and fear. Instead of trying something new, people stay stuck in fear.

It is much more powerful to use motivational thoughts, positive feelings and positive sayings to increase your motivation. When you are operating at a higher level of energy, it is much easier to stop procrastinating and to smother any negative thoughts that flame up. When you feel good, you feel that you can achieve anything and old thoughts like,"I don't know how to do this", "I am afraid I will make a mistake", or "What if my family doesn't approve?" are no longer an issue. Where once they had so much power over you, now they seem small and insignificant. For me, when I am really motivated, the negative thoughts actually sound quieter in my head, as though the volume knob on the radio was turned down.

Concentrate on one motivational thought for the day. Tell yourself that you can do it, until you believe that you can do it. The more often you hear something, the easier it is to believe. So, keep repeating motivational thoughts and positive sayings to yourself until you believe them. Your optimism and motivation will sky rocket and you will never look back.

The power of positive thought is no joke. When you are motivated from a place of positivity, you are stronger, faster, and you might literally feel lighter. It is one of the best feelings in life. Positive energy is enormously powerful and it will amplify your desire and motivation. When your desire and motivation are increased, you can succeed.

After Years of Misery from Anxiety and Depression, I Gained My Life Back

Exhausted? Stressed-out? Overwhelmed?

Hi,

Courtney here, author of this site. When I developed anxiety and depression, I went to a psychologist, a psychiatrist and a physician, and to be truthful, in my experience, these people couldn't really help.Therapy sessions, yoga and getting more exercise lessened my anxiety symptoms, but did not stop them for good.

In fact, I later learned that because I was living in a constant state of low-level stress and anxiety, the chemicals in my brain had changed, making me more anxious and depressed. Clearly, merely managing my symptoms was not enough - in fact, following "the doctor's orders" made things worse....
