Of all the self motivation techniques I know, one of the most crucial for success is: banish excuses from your life!

From time to time, we all use excuses. They are easy and convenient. Excuses can be thought up quickly and come in handy in a tight spot. But, they are also dangerous. The problem is that people start to believe that the excuses are TRUE.

We all know what needs to be done in order to succeed, but actually doing it is an entirely different thing. Over coming self sabotage by putting down the Stoneyfield Farms organic frozen yogurt and actually getting up to get things done is always tough for me :)
Self Motivation
Oftentimes, when trying to move forward, we feel overwhelming doubt, anxiety, and fear of failure. Our self-motivation evaporates. When faced with such opponents, it is easier to stay inert and motionless; to remain inactive rather than taking action. We use the excuse, "I don't have the time" in order to delay making real changes.
